The first Red Lion was built on this site in 1434, and has been associated with parliament and parliamentary intrigue! The current building with its protected victorian hand carved mahogany back bar fitting, dates back to 1900.
The pub boasts a division bell and the TV in the main bar is tuned into the parliament channel.
The cellar bar plays host to Electric Mouse Big Ben comedy club every Monday evening and the weekly pub quiz every Wednesday.
