Our first instalment for 2025 is a weighty one! Deeper DNB is heading to Brixton, a town firmly rooted in dance music and sound-system culture. The perfect location for the next chapter of Inner City Sonics.

Originally from London, Sustance is known for his forward-thinking sound that blends emotive depth with innovative sound design. His early works quickly garnered attention, leading him to sign exclusively with Shogun Audio.

With influences spanning hip-hop and the full electronic music spectrum, Sustance’s crisp and captivating productions are tailored for the dance-floor, establishing him as a prominent figure in the new generation of drum & bass producers.

Sustance’s debut album, Perceived Connections, is a testament to his versatile production style, fusing deep, melodic tracks with heavy, club-ready cuts. The album, which features collaborations with artists like Flowdan, Strategy, and Catching Cairo, showcases his ability to traverse different sounds within drum& bass while maintaining a distinctive sonic palette.

Known for his energetic DJ sets characterised by razor-sharp mixing, Sustance continues to push boundaries in both his live performances and studio productions, solidifying his place as one of the genre's most exciting talents.

Creatures is revered for a consistent back catalogue of no-nonsense deep Drum & Bass, with brooding, intricate sound design and razor-like drum work. His hard work has been steadily rewarded with key releases on Overview Music, Rebel Music and Dispatch Recordings to name just a few.

Featured throughout the years on publications such as Drum&BassArena, BBC Radio 1, and VISION Radio, he is also no novice to bringing his productions alive with a DJ career spanning the best part of the decade, regularly performing in his home city of Bristol and across the globe.
