About

Idioteque - With an ear for all things dark, atmospheric and bass-driven, the music that flows from the restless mind of Idioteque melds worlds between trip-hop, electronic and alternative rock; taking influences from an amalgam of artists, from Elliott Smith to Outkast, The Smashing Pumpkins to Portishead, it refuses to be pigeon-holed. Bringing together a love of guitar-led melodies and unfamiliar beat structures, Idioteque’s ideas are eclectic and ever-evolving, with this latest collection of tracks honing in on his more personal and emotive side to the creative process.

Cal - Cal is a singer-songwriter originally from the South West, now based in East London. They have been writing since the age of 10, taking influences from a range of sources and musicians such as Joni Mitchell, Damien Rice and Jeff Buckley. Their lyrics aim to blend natural imagery with themes of love, longing and melancholy. Cal likes small beers and long walks, and is hopefully releasing some music March 2025.

Zio Sica - Zio Sica is one of the many monikers of Gennaro Sica, under which he produces music, raps, and collects vinyl records; all of this when he’s not busy with science and railways! His passion for low frequency vibrations goes beyond his academic and professional background, making him an explorer and scholar of sound system culture. Originally from Salerno and a proud supporter of the underground scene in Campania, Zio Sica has been living in Brixton (South London) for 11 years, where he has been running the music platform/radio station Asse Zeta for 10 years, championing his love for beats through his two imprints, Z-AXIS and Warning Drop.
