Venue was small dark and claustrophobic. Not many people. More like going to the local pub than a singles event.

I must say that the event management team was fantastic and very friendly.

There was no music, no intro games and the room was dingy and outdated. We arrived and thought it was the initial waiting room and would be moving onto the party. We saw a handful of people arrive, look into the room and then leave. 
It said it would finish at 11, but most had left by 10. We left shortly after. 
The organisers friend was lovely, she was accommodating, friendly and helpful. The organiser was abrupt and a few people at the event who we spoke to complained that she was making inappropriate rude comments to them. It was quite unprofessional, not very inviting and I think the organiser could do with going to a few events undercover so she can get some tips. It wasn't worth £20.

This was the first time I attended such an event. It was very interesting, to say the least.  There were times it felt 'unnatural' and forced. Perhaps it would have been different with a larger crowd of people and music we could hear. With respect to the music, I do however understand it also needs to be at a level for people to hear each other. 
Nevertheless, this is not a complaint for the organisers/hosts - I felt they did a great job in trying to get people to mingle.  I also realised that there is no direct way to contact the hosts if we'd like to exchange details with anyone after the event.
