not a great venue as hard to navigate, no music and not a great selection of brands - overall a little dissapointing

Review of Best of Britannia

Some cool exhibitors but didn't like the space as much as the event in Farringdon and there just did not seem to be as much buzz either. Missed the music and bar area which was great fun last time and provided a good focal point. Admittedly we did go on Sunday afternoon so understandable if we missed the busier more energetic periods but also just did not seem to be as much there. We were not the only people looking for more having done a full circuit. Bit of a letdown after the last one unfortunately.

No clear indication where stands were.



Lovely to see so many British manufacturing and design companies

Overall the event was great and one I would certainly go to again.   Taking you items in order I would expand my scores thus :-

Music  very loud on one stall selling speakers, too loud to speak in nearby locations.  Other than that it was ok.

Venue was good and easily accessible but was uncomfortably hot and stuffy.  Also the were no chairs available when stopping for refreshments.

Prices were generally very high and I would imagine outside the budget of the average man on the street.   However, I realise that all hand crafted products are expensive to manufacture and consequently command a correspondingly high retail price.

Atmosphere was great and all exhibitors were helpful, knowledgeable and keen to engage  with visitors.

I would indeed recommend the event to anybody and hope you long continue to keep running them.

It was a great experience to check out different brands that originate from the UK. The Exhibitors are friendly and helpful. 
The air is however little stuffy as it is held in basement but not too big a concern since you can grab a drink from the bar to cool it off. Perfect!!!! 

A lovely and well set out exhibition of friendly designers. All the stalls were of a high quality and most of the ones I visited offered on the day discounts. Will be going again when BOB is back in London!

If you like unusual and well made British goods which are not on the high street, rock up to this event.

The sellers on show we're really good. We brought quite a few things and here were others bits we've made a note of for the future. However I thought the marketing and advertising for the event was very poor. We only knew about the event by making sure we checked every newsletter to be sure of the date. So in summery the seller were very good but the marketing was not, in my opinion.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting BoB. I found exceptional British brands from cosmetics, drinks, shoes, clothing, homeware, accessories that produce very unique and interesting items that  I will definitely be buying.
