Mudfest 2025
15 - 23 February
No one does mud quite like us. It’s the stuff our super-powered wetlands (and great family adventures) are made of.
Make it, mix it, mould it and build with it, sling it, paint it and jump in it. Head to WWT London for muddy activities kids of all ages will love.
Mud art
Use mud to paint, shape and create your own pieces of wetland art.
Mud kitchen
Open all day long, come and cook up a storm with our special mud kitchen equipment.
Brilliant beaks
Get up close to the fascinating beaks of our wetland birds and see how some are adapted to sift through the mud.
Seed bomb making
Make seed bombs out of earth and wildflower seeds to decorate a green space for the coming spring.
Nest building
Learn how birds use mud to make their nest by building your own.
We will also have mud and spoon races, animal footprint making and identifying, wormery displays and more!
