Review of DNB IN THE STREET w/ Mozey, Born on road, P Money & more!
Line up and entertainment was very good.
Multitude of organisational issues. and Poorly managed venue.
Waited in queue for over an hour and only managed to get in due to a friend who was on the line up.
No one checking the queue itself or requesting that people have tickets ready.to speed up process.
Only 1 female/ 2 male members of security completing searches at key time when promotional material had stated that last entry would be 10pm. This lead to multiple groups trying queue jump, for fear of not gaining entry.
Security had I.Ds laid out on table at entry and were taking photos of them. This was their attempt at having some sort of IDscan system and is laughable and totally outrageous. Leaving themselves open for a massive GDPR penalty for data security inadequacies.
Venue was unprepared for the number of attendees and didn't seem to have anything in place to deal with such a large volume of people, for such a small venue.
Toilets were unable to cope and had to have their useage limited.
For obvious reasons, most attendees were trying to be outside for street party and top billed acts and was very squashed. This gave me serious concerns for when street party portion of the event finished and people would want to get back inside the actual, smaller size venue, for the remainder of their night. At which point we left for safety concerns.
Event was obviously oversold with, no thought of the actual building capacity.

Not enough staff getting everybody into the venue. Nowhere near enough toilets so spent approx 2.5 hours either queuing to get in or queuing for the toilets. Ruined what was a cracking night as the music was amazing. DJs brilliant!!
