Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
To have two acts cancel at such short notice was extremely disappointing, especially Aqua as the headliners.
The running order needs to be re-assessed as there were peaks and troughs throughout.
Also needed more acts from the actual 90s (and not a feeble attempt at dragging the likes of Gareth Gates in from another decade).
The time it took to set up the stage for Gala was far too long and I found Gala’s comments about ‘true fans’ to be particularly patronising - with many people leaving their seats at that point.
Having said that, the Honeyz, Five, Big Brovaz, Corona and Los Lobos were amazing.
Will I be back next year … hmmm probably not.

Loved it!! Only one band which I felt let it down and they played a good few songs it all went down hill after that, but can't please everyone which is why this kind of concert is so good!

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
Great show! Sadly Aqua and 2Unlimited weren’t able to be there, but the acts there were brilliant. There were some sound issues, you couldn’t hear one of B*Witched, Spike from 911 or Michelle in Liberty X very well. Backing tracks were too loud! But it didn’t ruin things 😀

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
The sound was awful and felt that some of the artists with 1 hit wonders sung too many u known songs which killed the atmosphere but apart from that it was a brilliant night and hopefully with a little better organisation of the acts it will be even better

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
The quality of the sound sat at the rear was appalling.
Unable to here vocals, mics not working and reverb from the base too high making the audio quality very poor.
The visual main screen was pixelated even when special effects were not in use and out of sync.
We left at 1915hrs due to the poor unnecessarily distorted sound quality which prevented us from hearing the excellent line up.
Gig concept was perfect but the delivery was shocking.

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
Great until Gala. She spent too long setting up and destroyed the atmosphere. So many people left at this point and the following acts struggled to pick it back up. The running order was all wrong and 2 acts didn't show. Disappointing.

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
I was very disappointed at the organisation of the whole show. Microphones didn't work. Artists were frustrated which, rightly so. Its hard enough singing in front of thousands let alone when your microphones a duff. The line up could have been more of a build up rather than an anti climax. Some acts were amazing. Again the technology and behind the scenes let them down. Having a dj come on just to play some well known tunes was not what I expected. I assume just a filler or time seen as the main act cancelled. But once Gala was on the stage with an extended time slot? Which might I add was absolutely shocking. The atmosphere was gone. We'd had enough, the disappointment was overwhelming and we left. Shame for the other acts that had to follow that set. As most people had left with sheer astonishment at what was going on in the gala set. It was completely out of place. As for Aqua, I appreciate illness and needing to recover. But they weren't even in the country, with one of the band members posting about getting a tattoo. I don't think they was planning on coming long before they made the excuse of illness. Very disappointed.

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
The event needs some work, the running order could have been better some acts placed incorrectly (Gala being one, completely killed atmosphere). Aqua cancelling 2 hours before the show was poor, to know you had the show, you would know more in advance than that, especially as they were the headline act.
The audio mixing needed more preparation, acts were visibly unhappy with their loop and mic set-ups that should have been pre-set in sound check.

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
The majority of acts were brilliant, took us right back to our childhood! Didn’t really think that Gala fitted in with the night and at times the sound wasn’t great but overall a fantastic night!

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
There were some really good acts on, but spoiled by the headliner not being there (rumours of them not even being in the country could end up with refunds being given) and 2 unlimited not even mention. Atmosphere completely died after waiting 20 mins for stage set up for Gala. Needs more planning

Review of 90s Baby POP - The Biggest Pop Show Ever
Decent line up of acts but performed in the wrong order which meant the show and atmosphere peaked midway. Most of the one-hit-wonders sang songs nobody knew and people started to leave early. Towards the end there was quite a bit of filler from the DJ between acts and the headline act dropped out at late notice. I felt sorry for the final 4 acts because they were singing to just half of the arena. However, the acts that were expected to be good were fantastic, the running order was just all wrong. I’m not sure if I’d go again.
