Review of Hot 8 Brass Band + DJ Jamie Groovement
I have scored less on the atmosphere purely on the basis that for 2 hours in the run up to Hot 8 there was a DJ playing (bad taste in music). I would have, and was expecting, to see a local supporting band and I think this would be better placed to get the crowd going and energised for the main band.
Hot 8 Brass band themselves were absolutely amazing and did not fail to entertain us with there energy, enthusiasm and pure talent.

Review of Noughties Baby w/ Cascada, Fatman Scoop + Many more
Good: music, sound quality, spacious venue; even at sold out shows you're able to get some space if you go upstairs on the side.
Friendly bar staff albeit never enough.
Drinks toppers freely available at the bars, useful to avoid spillages as well as spiking.
Bad: ridiculous prices for all drinks - soft drinks £4 a pint on draught!
The only toilets are in the basement which is three floors below the general seating area, precarious narrow staircase down to toilets which can be slippy, one way system, takes forever to go to the toilet round trip!
Security have an attitude.
Terrible queuing system outside the venue, forced to queue winding round buildings with no cover.
