Review of Teletech Festival 2024
Has the potential to be so amazing but the disorganisation ruined the full weekend!
Pay 140 quid for a ticket and can't see any of the dj's you want to see? Waited in the boiler room queue for an hour to be told by security we were stupid for waiting in a queue because the boiler room was shut by the organisers as it was at capacity and NOT getting reopened (which it eventually did) which resulted in people leaving the queue and not being able to get in at all. I understand the idea and the one in out system but with the numbers that want to get in and the size of the boiler room it just isn't feasible or fair!!
Secondly, warehouse not being opened until this late means if the weather is poor, your either at 1 of 2 stages outside getting soaked or sitting in the empty depressing warehouse with no music to stay dry. Not the organisers fault about the weather but just another thing to point out.
If the organisers could split the headliners up a bit it between boiler room/warehouse and have them running at same time it would fix so many problems, and maybe consider having the boiler room in the warehouse as it's the most sought after stage and only a small percentage of ticket holders can gain entry.
I read reviews before coming and unfortunately ignored it, unless something gets changed about this event I won't be back again and I know lots of others won't either as it was a complete dissapointment.
I hope the event organisers take everything from everyone's reviews on board and rethink things, because as I said it has so much potential to be amazing, especially with the bec venue, but it just isn't.
