Great night out. The music is brilliant. But as a seasoned funk/ soul family we were hoping for many more fabulous mash ups, of the songs we love. Deelight and Marvin Gaye mash ups were brill and whetted out appetite for more; Stevie wonder, parliament, Roy Ayers and even the Bar Kay’s would have been outstanding. Loved Bus Stop.
Family ranging from 20 yrs to 60 yrs we all like funk soul. More please.

Don't understand why Mr. SCRUFF hardly played. Actually paid the 16 quid to see Mafalda who was really really good just paid to see Mr scruff and he spent most of the time at the side of the stage drinking a beer. Hop Mafalda got paid a fair amount cos she pretty much did a 5 hour set

Review of Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club ft. The Mighty Mocambos

a good night. Craig Charles started off great then brought everything down to a bit of a non exciting drone for at least the last half of his set. It didn't hold my attention from that point on. spent time giving it a chance but he never really recovered the crowd from half way and he could only see the people surrounding him near the stage. he needs to think beyond his immediate desire for fandom and do a set that builds up not down. I won't be paying to see Craig Charles again but no complaints about the venue.
