For many years I have wanted to see Nearly Dan as I’ve been a fan of Steely Dan and many similar bands for a long time.
Living in North Wales is lovely, but you often have to travel a bit to see live music, although we have a very talented crowd of players in this neck of the woods!
Anyway, we were in the Stockport area and I spotted some Band on The Wall promo leaflets which had just gone out of date. I Googled Band On The Wall and to my delight I saw Nearly Dan were booked on Saturday.
Skiddle came up as ticket vendors for the night. Booking was easy once I had sorted an account out.
I would recommend Band On The Wall to anyone. Although I’m 70, i still enjoy taking my wife to gigs now and again.
We were welcomed by everyone. All the staff were exceptionally helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed the band, they were everything I expected and more. The acoustics and sound engineering were absolutely tops, so thanks everyone for a weekend to remember
