About

Sour Grapes Records presents...

Leatherette

Italian post-punk band Leatherette put out their first album ‘Fiesta’ back in October. Pushing boundaries through a fusion of vigorous sounds, intense lyrics, along with the unique addition of a saxophone player, they have a sound like no other in the genre. In their own words, Leatherette is just “five shy guys who sometimes get off the stage and punch people,” which transpires in their music. Their distorted tones echo a feeling of urgency like they have something to say and need to say it as loud as possible, hoping that the voices in their heads will finally be heard.

Little Hand Feet

Contemporaries of Yorkshire diamonds English Teacher and Eades, Leeds-based LITTLE HAND FEET blend intense, rapid-fire post-punk with melodic intention and emotional lyricism, resulting in ADHD-induced rock euphoria for all who have been lucky enough to experience them live. Combining the angst and weight of the band, Shame, with the intricacies of bands such as Omni and Preoccupations, their performances are highly regarded, with the band's tight and well-executed sets cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most promising DIY bands. They've already shared the stage with artists such as Mock Media, DITZ, Gurriers, Holiday Ghosts, Willie J. Healey, Keg, Unschooling, Automatic, Public Practice, Deeper, and Omni, sold out their Newcastle debut, with a UK headline tour and support from BBC Introducing under their belt. In 2024, they made their international debut playing shows at Left of the Dial, Rotterdam. Keep an eye out for their upcoming EP, set for release in 2025.
