US metalcore legends BLEEDING THROUGH and powerviolence juggernaut NAILS will perform exclusive UK shows at Damnation 2024.
To celebrate their long-awaited return to British shores, Bleeding Through will play their iconic record, This Is Love, This Is Murderous, in full.
Post-metal giants RUSSIAN CIRCLES and death metal standouts GATECREEPER also join the first wave of bands to play the 18th edition of Damnation, which will be hosted in BEC Arena, Manchester, on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November.
THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, CELESTE, AHAB, DOOL and HEXIS will add a stunning mix of black metal, doom, sludge and heavy rock to proceedings while American screamo outfit GILLIAN CARTER make their UK debut.
Bleeding Through said: "The UK has always been a special place for Bleeding Through. When we released 'This Is Love This Is Murderous' the UK treated us as one of their own and we felt the love from our UK fans more than anyone else.
"The connection that we formed with them really helped drive us as and become the band that we are today. We owe the UK so much and we are stoked to go back and share our music with our incredible fans."
On making their Damnation debut, German black metallers, The Ruins of Beverast said: "Our visits in the UK may have been less in number, but all the more intense. That's why we're stoked to invade Manchester and appear at 2024's edition of venerable Damnation festival!"
Gillian Carter added: "We’re super stoked and honoured to announce our debut UK show to be at the legendary Damnation!”
Damnation organiser Gavin McInally said: "With 1,400 tickets sold before we'd even announced a band, the pressure was on to repay that faith.
"Landing not only the return of Bleeding Through, but an exclusive play through of This Is Love, This Is Murderous was an unbelievable coup, and then to bag Nails' only UK show on top, is a carnage combo that will need to be survived."

About
Damnation started in Manchester in 2005, in a place called Jilly’s Rockworld, which is now a Tesco, and one in 2006 too, both years sold out at a thousand capacity. From Manchester, Damnation then moved to venues in Leeds and spent the vast majority of it's history there, selling out at the 2500 - 3000 mark regularly, but again found the restrictions of venue size to be an issue for accommodating demand.
Fast forward to 2021, where the decision was made to move to BEC Arena in Manchester, where the place was absolutely packed, and had some amazing sets. Damnation has grown organically in size, stature with an ever-growing fanbase over the years, and following a phenomenal response to 2023 they look forward to 2024's edition that will mark it's 19th year.
