Rylan Gleave is a composer and vocalist, working in experimental and divergent fields. Under moniker All Men Unto Me, he explores Anglican aesthetics and doom metal influences, drawing on the timbres of his late-breaking voice. All Men Unto Me’s debut album, In Chemical Transit, was reviewed as “breath-taking” by Veil of Sound and “a brave, fascinating, and triumphant view of transition” in The Wire. Rylan works across disciplines, particularly dramatic live contexts, exploring a range of jazz-punk (class-work), avant-garde metal (Ashenspire), chamber music, and orchestral compositions, recently with Paraorchestra, Mahogany Opera, and Chamber Music Scotland. As a soloist, Rylan performs alt-folk music (EP Lawn Crypt) about Highland folklore, graveyards, and ghosts, which he will bring to the Stoller Hall on the 18th March, with vocals, piano, and electronics.
