Sick night out but last act was a bit disappointing, should've stuck with with the jump up.

Went in with every intention of having a great night,was not disappointed. From a no nonsense start to a no nonsense finish the show ran with humour and absolute killer musicianship, breathtaking a times.There was a great friendly vibe and smiles a plenty,quite rare at gigs to be honest.
The staff were polite and friendly,I KNOW sounds impossible but they were truly worthy of note.Prices were fine and all in all a great experience,loved it.

I can't believe there hasn't been more mention of how badly this event was run on the door. Two security guys trying to search a disorderly crowd pushing through one doorway, and it was getting dangerous at times. Not impressed that a venue as big as the academy had nothing in place to deal with the numbers of tickets sold, the queue was at least an hour and this was from around midnight onwards. Felt bad for the security guys as they were just following procedure/orders and getting a lot of grief for it. I went with a big group of friends (all 30+), one wasn't allowed in as he was caught up in a big push for the door, end result we all missed this long awaited gig. To add insult to injury there was a second scrum building up inside the foyer for wrist stamp/ticket exchange. Chaos!

The worst I've ever been treated at a music venue. I didn't even go in and see any of the acts. There was a fight in the queue outside to get in, They were doing 5 minute searches of each of us, my friends couldn't get in the venue because the tickets were in someones name who was not with us, they will not accept money over the till for tickets, staff were rude. Me and my friends are around 30 years + of age. I will never be going to this venue again.

Brilliant night

SHM smashed it, bouncing from one great tune to another so that by 2am I was dripping with sweat and buzzing like mad :-) Was a great night with a totally up for it crowd.

The Apollo is great as a venue, although the queues for drinks were criminal at times.

Marky was bad!!!

Huge night!

What a band, what a sound. Best dance gig ever, to my mind. These deserve a massive audience, but it'd never keep still.
