Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
The price was FAR too much for what you get! We queued longer than the actually attraction, they send you in groups of 8 but we was stood waiting for about 10mins for a door to open inside the time to die attraction that the other group caught up so then we was a group of 16 and couldn't even see what was happening in the rooms or as we was walking through! It was literary 30-40mins queuing and 10mins walking through some darks areas, it was a waste of money unfortunately and I don't understand why you have a time slot because your just thrown in a small room with a bar with everyone regardless of the time you booked.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
I feel like this was an utter let down and if I'm totally honest not worth the quite big price stamp.
I have been to many Thorpe park fright nights and many fright mazes across the uk and I feel this really lacked a "scare" element. The stop start of the "maze" did ruin the experience as it stopped the momentum and 9 times out of ten you couldn't always hear what they were saying when you were walking in. Some of the actors were really in character and some seemed less enthusiastic than others. The scare factor really was not there and instead we found ourselves laughing. Which if we paid for a comedy show it would have been great but not som**hing that was advertised as a horror experience. For £35 and in the centre of Manchester I would have expected a lot more actual horror and not so bright lighting. The lighting also made it easy to see people hiding and just gave no element of surprise. There were also a few sections of the experience that seemed a little crude which again if we had been there for a laugh that's great. But not som**hing advertised as being made by those who created Area 51 etc. Overall, a massive dissatisfaction, no element of scare at all instead a comedy show which meant it was really a waste of money. We really feel after this experience getting some refund or money back is substantial. I've paid £25 for a better night elsewhere with actual scare factors and real enthusiasm. Just really disappointed as I love these sort of things but it had so much potential just lacked the main element of a Halloween scare night ... being scared.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
We went to Scare Factory in Manchester last night, it was absolutely brilliant, it was worth every penny, we would definitely go back next year, the actors were amazing and the atmosphere was brilliant! The bar was reasonably priced as well, 5* service all round!

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
It was pretty good considering this is a new scare attraction, so there will be things to improve and add onto. Seen a few scare actors walk around whilst waiting in line but didn't see many any after that. Would have been cool to see more just roaming around in between the mazes to add to the atmosphere or som**hing extra to get your moneys worth but I enjoyed last night regardless. The toymaker maze was definitely my favourite. Props to the scare actors, defo got the pulse racing a little.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
You can tell a lot of effort went into it but somehow it didnât feel the atmosphere. The wait and the build up sets the higher expectations and you think youâd really be spooked. There was nothing spooky about it especially when you walked through the maze in the dark, there is no one scaring you. There is nothing in the walkway to make your heart beats faster. You know you just get to the next pit stop for another actors chat and carry on. Itâs very dull and not scary at all. No one even screamed. Itâs definitely not worth the £35 per person. Iâve spent £32 to a scream fest for 4 mazes and it was a lot better. Sorry to disappoint you but itâs a NO from me.
