Silk Cuts

After a 2 year hiatus, Silk Cuts returns for an evening of good music to dance to, and what better place to do it than at the intimate confines of Salford's iconic Eagle Inn.

Joining us on the night will be a man who knows a thing or 2 about records: Silas The Don. Silas works at Eastern Bloc by day and wows crowds across Manchester by night with his selections. Whilst usually known for his bass heavy style, running the en vogue Soundboy night, he's also got a great collection of boogie records that he'll be bringing down for your enjoyment.

Also making an appearance behind the decks is Lancaster Bomber, flying over the Pennines to drop a relentless set of bangers on the Eagle's dancefloor. One half of Sheffield based duo Wow & Flutter, he'll be flying solo on the night. But fear not, as he has a hell of a music collection and knows exactly what you want to hear, before you can even imagine it. Get your dancing shoes on because this guy knows how to move a crowd!

Finally, Silk Cuts resident DJ - Silkman, will be bringing his eclectic style to the party. After spending the last 2 years as a recluse; working on his productions and YouTube mix series 'Mezzanine Mix', he's got a stockpile of tracks ready to unleash on the dancefloor.

Music policy includes but is not limited to: Boogie & disco straight from the Malibu Club, 80s bangers so cokey they were investigated by Miami Vice, Cheeky, wigged out, clubby house music, Euro & Italo formaggio, Vintage pop music (70s-90s), Synth pop, Emotional pop rock from coming of age 80s movies & more.
