Review of R&B Lovers - Saturday 28th December - Freight Island Manchester
I wasn't particularly impressed with this event. Half of the music wasn't even r&b music, the host was talking over some of the songs and majority of the songs only played for 30 seconds before moving onto another song.
The drinks were expensive and watered down , paying full prices and lagers were watered down, no full fat c**e only diet and was just being charge full fat c**e prices.
I wouldn't attend again , can not believe I payed almost £30 for a tick*t and I left by 8.30pm

Review of Christmas by Candlelight - Manchester
Tried to cram in too many people for the event and also at £25 each was just expecting more than just 4 singers on a stage.. few extra Christmas touches would have been nice - songsheets? Santa? Maybe a candle each as it's actually called by candlelight!!

Review of Christmas by Candlelight - Manchester
The event was curtained off from the public but they could still hear the music! There were no spotlights on the band so we may as well have sat on the other side of the curtain. We had to share a table with others because you had sold so many tick*ts but if we had sat outside the curtains we would have had our own table.
The sound quality at times wasn't great and one or two of the singers were average.
A few of the food vendors had sold out of all or most of their food dishes and the rest had huge queues so we all missed some of the performance.
The event started 30 mins late. You've also stolen the '...by Candlelight' branding without delivering the experience.
And then charged £25!!!

Review of Christmas by Candlelight - Manchester
The band were excellent and did get people dancing towards the end. However I felt it was extremely overpriced. Its a big hall, it wasn't warm and there was just trestle tables near the front, if you wanted a view. I had to get a chair with a back, for support. At the back people just stared at a video of a burning log fire. There were no c***kers, complimentary anything, mince pies or sweets, nibbles, which given the cost I felt definately could have been included. Maybe other things also such a fake snow or ecen someone dressed as Father Christmas or any fedtive characters, as there were quite a few children there also

Review of Christmas by Candlelight - Manchester
The only problem on the 23rd is there were sound issues and you either couldn't hear the singers or there was speaker feedback, so you couldn't enjoy around 4 songs.
Everything else was perfect

Review of Bingo Lingo Manchester - Christmas Special - Let's Get Piste
For the money I paid I expected a much better venue and vibes from the staff. The night also ended early due to "technical issues" which is unfair
