Review of Thursday Night Live
Can't really comment on prices too much as I barely remember and only got a soft drink. But the atmosphere was brilliant, the comics were really good, the staff are helpful and take you to your seat, the venue has a lovely, cosy feeling, and I'll definitely be going back.

Review of Rob Auton - The Time Show
Rob's performance was warm, funny, offbeat and thoughtful. He delivered an introductory set of earlier material before performing his most recent show, The Time Show, after the break. The Time Show is about time, as the title suggests, and is another whimsical, meandering, philosophical, touching and utterly hilarious hour of classic Auton!
Towards the end of the show Rob confessed to feeling a little shaky and out of practice after so long in isolation and not touring, but his well-honed yet purposely shambolic craft seemed to me to have settled back easily into a well-worn groove.
Like slipping back into a slightly raggedy but intensely comforting jumper, an evening with Rob Auton was the perfect re-introduction to going out to live gigs again, and The Frog & Bucket was the ideal venue in which to experience it (even if some of the crowd might not have known exactly what to make of a man who admits that a question he frequently asks himself is 'whether I can get away with delivering this material in a show listed as comedy'. Yes, Rob, you can.)
