The International Anthony Burgess Foundation encourages and supports public and scholarly interest in all aspects of the life and work of Anthony Burgess. Based in Manchester, England, it has an extensive library, archive and study centre containing Burgess's books, music and papers. It also has a performance venue where we present new work by writers, artists and musicians. Founded in 2003 by Liana Burgess (1929-2007), it is an entirely independent charity that welcomes all individuals and institutions interested in Burgess's work.
