Great one-off event, fantastic choice of beers alongside Joseph Holts own brews, really nice atmosphere, chatty and helpful staff, so glad I went along. Thanks to everyone involved in organising.

It was decades since I had toured this great local brewery. This was promoted as a beer festival. Easy to get to. Very popular, so once I found a seat I stayed put. There was live music on a stage in their large yard, however the performer was a bit raucous. Holt's own beers had nearly run out!, however unlike the proverb a very large selection of guest beers were laid on from several other brewers, an the sample I had was in tip top condition. I also had one of the best meat pies I have ever eaten, I hope they start selling them in their pubs.

Sadly the only fly in the ointment was Skiddle, whom I will avoid if possible in future.

What a great afternoon we had.
There was plenty of different beers to try and served by really friendly staff.
We also took the opportunity to take the brewery tour,which was well presented and informative.
Well done to Joseph Holts for providing the opportunity of celebrating their 175 year anniversary.

Great time was had but a lack of seating made it uncomfortable standing for myself and my 86 year old friend.
Also more information about the history of Joseph holt and the great work for charity ie the Christie would have been very informative.
