Dance Now. Talk Later returns Friday 27th September.
For our 3rd party at Morgans we thought it was time to think about showcasing some of the best up and coming talent we've heard recently.
Excited to share that our headliners will be the ridiculously talented @make.a.dance - tipping up to Morgans for their first appearance in Manchester!
Make A Dance is the lovechild of Josh Ludlow and Ben Lewis. Their joy and passion for what they do is clear. "This project is for the love of the dance and should therefore always have the dance in mind". Now there's a mission statement we can fully endorse.
M.A.D have been djing for many years but started releasing music just a few years back. It was when we first heard their remix of Django Djangos "Don't Touch That Dial" that our ears pricked up to the M.A.D sound. After that u couldn't help but notice that absolutely everything they touched had to be bagged - bringing a rave, electro and early house feel to their music with bleeps, reverb and plenty of acid squelch.
There's loads of excellent MAD radio shows and mixes out there too - plenty of heaters in those record collections! Absolutely buzzing that MAD are coming up from London to play Morgans and to be bringing this very special party to Old Trafford for you.
Not just that but local rising star Laura Jackson is making her Social Service debut on the night. A favourite across the city, Laura's sharp pinned record-hunting fuels her sets, seamlessly blending anything from house, soul and UKG to disco, afro and jazz into one irresistible journey. Laura has been a regular at our nights for years now so it was about time we made sure she had a chance to get on the other side of the decks and make US dance.
Oh and of course your hosts The Social Service will be banging out the odd tune as well
Friday 27th September. Something to look forward to after the summer innit?! Tickets launching from Monday 29th July. All profits will go to charity as always
