Review of MCM Comic Con
This is my 9th con and I thought the best organised. The disabled access and support was excellent. I must say that that near lunchtime on the Saturday though the crowds became completely unpassable, not just for wheelchair users like myself but for people in general. It was impossible to get to stalls to see anything and people in cosplay were becoming dehydrated due to the heat in the main room and the sheer amount of people. I think that too many tickets were sold for the Saturday. It was fine on the Sunday. I was particularly impressed with the children's area, the free crafts and the reading area with the bean bags where families could take a timeout to calm down and relax away from the crowds and noise was a great idea. It was really good that it was positioned in the room with air conditioning. The Lorax forest was a great idea too. Very impressed. Even the stewards seemed better trained this time, all were professional and friendly.

Review of MCM Comic Con
Firstly the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. Such good fun and a real feel of belonging (I cosplayed) . The venue itself was an appropriate size however I felt the stall layout could've been better. There were much bigger aisles around the food stalls instead of the merch stalls. This seemed a bit silly and should have been the other way round. The prices were both reasonable and unreasonable. Food for instance was a joke for the actual food on offer (fish and chips was more like fish finger and chips) and a lot of stalls emphasised these "mystery boxes" and often not for a cheap price either. Personally not interested in anything like that but I respect this is each to their own. Aside from that I can't complain. The whole event is more about the people who attend than the organisers so it sells itself really. Had a really great day out !

Review of MCM Comic Con
Too much too similar packed too tightly, not enough displays or activities, not enough opportunities for the social side of things. not enough done to involve cosplay groups, invite the judges and other groups as well as the UK Garrison and have a look at For the Love of Sci Fi to see how to do that better

Review of MCM Comic Con
Always a brilliant day out at MCM events and this was no different. Amazing selection of stalls selling quirky, original and rare content for every comic, tv, movie and anime fan. Lots to see in the comic village too. All staff spoken to, very polite, helpful and knowledgable! Only downsides were lack of eateries, we must have spent at least an hour in the Pizza queue, and when it's a long day, people need something to eat. Also, the signing area was better last year in the other room, it was too squashy in the corner it was put this year and was causing confusion and congestion.
