Single Mingle is a great idea and you could tell a lot of thought and care had been put into organising it as there are very few events aimed at single people.

The lock and key element was a nice ice breaker (although a little bit cringe) but I think it became the focus of the event possibly due to the chance of winning a cash prize.

It was well attended but I think there were people there under the age range it was aimed it.

I wasn't really a fan of the music. As the event was aimed at 30-40 year old it definitely needed some 80's pop.

The venue was good although the outdoor balcony was basically just a smoking area rather than a quiet place to chat. Future events should consider having a designated smoking area and a place where people who don't smoke can socialise outside.

Depending on what you're looking for in a relationship the night club type event might not be the best way of meeting new people as with most night clubs/bars you can't hear a word you're saying to each other. Maybe possibly having a day event with coffee might be a good alternative for future events and deter those that are just looking to "pull".

Having the option of bringing a wing man/woman was a nice touch for people who might be shy or don't want to come alone.

The price of tickets was reasonably but could possibly have been cheaper considering that the price of men's tickets were slashed in half at one point. The price of drinks were expensive but might be considered standard for Manchester with a pint costing just over 7 quid.

There was also lots of security who were friendly and professional.

Really good night, venue was nice with a great atmosphere. The padlock and key was a great idea, it got people chatting. The only downside was the bar was WAY too busy! The bar staff were great, they were just to run off their feet! All in all, a great night considering it was the first one. Really well organised! Good luck for future events :-)

Not enough bar staff , £9 for a small bottle of prosecco was a total rip off.
Was a good night but having 2 staff in the main bar wasn't enough to accommodate

Just not enough make tickets sold - more girls than boys at event - disappointing, we left after a couple of hours.

Awful event. The location was terrible; a tiny bar with two staff on meaning waits of 20mins plus with everyone pushing and shoving. Poor selection of drinks, back bar was practically empty.
Through to a huge empty room with people standing around like a school disco, with no atmosphere.

Meant to be an event for 30/40s but a lot of men there in their 50’s. Low quality person attending. Vaping inside, smelly etc. Left by 10pm. Would not recommend.

I just think it could of been ran a little better more interaction than just left to mingle, I can do that in a bar, some ice breakers would of been nice or a game or two

Was rushed through from the lift, scanned and that was it. Supposedly people were walking around with padlocks and keys… wasn’t told about either.
When I arrived the bar was 5/6 people deep and there was only 3 bartenders, which was awful Al especially everyone was told to be there by 9pm. It took 45 minutes to get a drink. Could have done with another larger bar with more choices. Put me off and I nearly decided to leave straight away, everything was very clustered around the lift door and wasn’t a good immediate vibe.

I’m sure a lot of people enjoyed it but I left just after 10 to go and get some food with my friend who I went with.

I doubt very much I would attend an event like this again.

Maybe offer discount / early bird to previous attendees

Was ok, but became a bit disjointed as people were spread out and hard to find conversation. Would not attend an event again, and definitely not at that price
