Review of Un-Convention Manchester 2023
Another great Unconventional, bringing together people from across the industry and allowing some real progress to be made. Great panels and wonderful music combined to give an informative platform for those dedicated to the Grassroots Music.

Review of Un-Convention Manchester 2023
Not enough music. The 3 artists that played were excellent but one song isn't enough. Generally the panel session were far too political. This wasn't as much about the music industry as previous conferences, more about the panellists political views which hasn't helpful. This meant that there wasn't as many hints and tips to take away, which is a real shame. I did enjoy some of the sessions but not all, particularly the ones where the moderator didn't moderate effectively as was too keen to express their own opinions. I'm thinking in particular Gordon Masson.
And, I don't think Band on the Wall is big enough now. Particularly the bar area. I hope this helps.
