Loved the venue, didn’t like the 2hr wait without support artist

Review of Gladys Knight | Farewell Tour | Manchester

Great show but sat in audience seats from 7 to 9.15 before performance started. We were told to be seated before 8pm as no entrance was allowed after thos time as there was a supporting act . But no act appeared so we sat for 135 minutes waiting. Not good ! 

Doors opened at 7pm.  No support act.  Gladys knight did not come on until 9.15 and finshed at 10.25.  Had to sit there from after 7pm until 9.25 by which time the evening dragged on and spoilt what was supposed to be a great night.  Sat too long waiting over 2 hours with nothing happening.  Gladys was good, but can see why its a farewell tour as she was frail.  Singing was good and glad l saw her.  She needs a group or entertainment before her.

Great theatre in a theatre full of character. An Awesome  Night watching Gladys Knight’s farewell tour . She’s not the empress of soul for nothing and dancing in the seats ensued. Fantastic !!

Gladys was exceptional as expected.
The only hassle was that we arrived at 7.30 and had to wait until 9.15
There was no support act and we were not informed about anything.

Gladys was amazing!!  The only negative was that Gladys didn't come on stage until 9:15pm and we were led to believe that the show started at 7pm, although no support act was mentioned.  Therefore the audience had to sit and wait for up to 2 hours before the performance began.

Waited for over 1 hour 45 minutes for her to come on .we sat down at 7.40 but she never come on until 9.15 .no support band absolutely disgraceful. No announcements about her being late on stage. Alot of the audience were starting to sing why are we waiting. When she did come on she was on for about 1 hour she was amazing but the fault lies with the theatre itself. Get a grip people paid alot if money for tickets you can take bottled water in but leave them unopened until you get in .

Farewell Tour what a way to go! Gladys a classy lady said it in style. Superb l felt privileged to be there.
