The band’s music is inspired from some of their favourite artists:Arctic Monkeys,Catfish and the Bottlemen,Peace,The WombatsandThe Strokes, to name a few.
“Their debut is packed with vociferous attitude and swagger, bursts of guttural vocal energy, grinding guitars and pounding drums but there’s also a sensitive side on display with strong songs, soaring melodies, and talented musicianship” – Night and Day
“The Twenty Two are a head-on collision of exuberance and indie sounds, really charismatic and fill this venue with coolness. Very, very tight musically and a really energetic, quality performance. Up tempo, tunes bursting out, guitar-driven with a hard-hitting edge but melodic with utterly feel-good vibes dripping from every song.” – New Sound Generation Music Magazine
