The event must have turned 100 people away with the ‘dress code’ which was no where on the ticket, or on Skiddle or on the progress centre Instagram. We paid for taxis all the way from Wigan to come to this event only to be turned away, the amount of money the venue would have lost would be insane. The fact that this dress code wasn’t mentioned on the venue Instagram or when we bought the ticket is false advertisement, and it really has put a lot of people off from going to a mason collective event again. The lack of communication is ridiculous, and then to let people in sports wear into the event who are friends with the DJ and then turn everyone else away just shows how it’s one rule for one and one rule for everyone else.
