Review of Sasha at the progress centre
Seeing Sasha was bloody fantastic as always and Mr Sossa. The people were amazing so lovely. The venue was great it’s just when it rained likes it did for 2 hours solid people had no where to get shelter, no gazebo’s or anything so we were soaked. Rain did not stop us enjoying ourselves tho was a fabulous day event. Thank you.

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
Very small venue, and no proper shelter in place incase it rains. Became too overcrowded quickly and food and drinks very overpriced. The Progress Centre unfortunately is not an ideal place for clubbing.

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
This place will be great when it doesn’t rain. For us though it absolutely poured down for an hour and everyone who couldn’t cram into the inside section got soaked to the bone. 20% of the people left the venue during the rain.
It needs some sort of outdoor cover to be put up.
Apart from that the acoustics and sound were top draw. Bars moved quickly to get people served.
It’s only been open a few weeks I was told so there should be some improvement in the near future I hope?

Review of The Progress Centre
Terrible venue. We arrived at 5pm and were totally drowned by 5:30pm. There is no way we would have dried out meaning we faced the prospect of being in soaking wet clothes for 6 hours! We decided to go home and get changed but were told that re-entry was not allowed! A total waste of money. Avoid this venue at all costs. The management are grossly irresponsible.

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
A truly awful experience. Venue was flooding with limited cover for most of the loyal followers wanting to see Sasha. The situation was so bad that we decided to leave after only 40 minutes.
The Event has a legal and moral responsibility to provide facilities that are fit for purpose, leaking roof does not fulfil its purpose.
Sadly, we will miss Sasha but rather be safe and sorry!

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
The venue was not ideal for a DJ like Sasha as it was not very wide so was very busy and not much room to move. The Function One sound system was on point, loud and clear exactly as it should be! The atmosphere was very good, security were friendly and efficient at getting people into the venue. All the Dj's performed very well and the music was very good with Sasha playing 3 hours of absolute perfection! All round a very good party, would certainly visit again...

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
Venue was not equipped to deal with the rain, we got absolutely soaked and unable to get under any shelter as everyone was huddling and fighting to get out the rain, it was our first time at this venu and we really would not attend this place again, not even enough poratloos to deal with the capacity. We left after a couple of hours drenched wet through what a waste of time and money

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
Had so much potential. The venue was nothing but an alleyway which funnelled people into a claustrophobic concrete walled space with no side doors or rooms. Inevitably, the rain came and that was the end of the event for us - barely any shelter and no where near enough room for all people to exist in the same space and dance. The floor turned into one big muddy puddle, so unless you’re Peppa Pig, there’s nothing fun about that.

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
A health and safety nightmare - a s**tty venue that would make a rubbish dump look like an operating theatre by comparison - when the rain came so did the crowd surge to get under the covered section, which was already over capacity. This surge forced us outside into the monsoon that was occurring which in turn forced us to leave.
The Progress Centre? Donât make me laugh, this is the very opposite of progress, f**k knows how you got Sasha to headline

Review of Sasha at the progress centre
The event was clearly oversold without the facilities to cater for the attendees. The only sheltered area was over the dance floor, which was dangerously packed by the time we arrived at 4:30. This resulted in a number of people just having to stand in the torrential rain! We were drenched by 5:30 and there was no way we could have enjoyed the event in the state so took the decision to leave without even seeing Sasha. Absolutely gutted. The venue should consider the number of tickets they sell for future events, also additional sheltered areas, a relaxation on last entry and the ability to come and go as you wish. Definitely wouldnât go back until these fundamental issues are resolved.
