Based on Fania Fenelon’s book Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz, Butterfly in Blood is an avant-garde chamber opera involving classical contemporary and free improvisational parts. The Opera is based and inspired among others part by the composers and their works listed below. The programme will also includes classical French songs, Yiddish songs and Greek traditional songs. The concert is focused on the pluralism of the cultural diversity of the nations implied to the Second World War and Holocaust.
