Wheel were fantastic. First time I saw them was last year, when they supported Apocalyptica and Epica, at Manchester Academy, and I've since bought their CD discography. They're a great prog metal band, influenced by Tool, using odd time signatures, but more high energy, like Tool on steroids!
Rebellion is a smaller venue with about 400 capacity, but nice and cosy. It's impossible to be too far from the stage. Well stocked, reasonably priced bar and friendly staff. I'm an almost 70yr old metalhead and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, as did my 40yr old Son.
