Sunday 25th August sees the return of LOVE RIOT to Manchester’s iconic Retro Bar! Come and see out your Pride 2024 weekend with Dandy and AnalogueTrash, at the best alt queer party in town.

We’ve curated an extra special party for you this year, joined by our shared passion for community, solidarity, and music. We’ve got some of the best independent live music acts around, followed by that trademark Dandy energy you expect from our club nights - and, of course, pizza! 🍕

Join us at LOVE RIOT from 6pm, where up to 10pm we have live music performances from:

SPRAY

Lancashire’s finest providers of luxurious wonky pop. Glorious synth sounds and heartwarming vocals; all delivered with a sharp, acerbic edge.

DEF NEON

An eclectic and energetic mix of rock, dirty electro and Bass music; themselves describing their sound as Daft Punk crossed with Siouxsie Sioux, or Peaches meets Van Halen.

BJØRN FELLE

Idiosyncratic electronic sounds inspired by 80s synthpop and punk, 90s techno, house and indie grunge, the odd 16-bit video game soundtrack, and a healthy dose of psychedelia.

Then from 10pm we get the basement club bouncing with big EDM, techno and rave tunes, followed by the main room at 11pm for pop, dance and indie bangers - all from your favourite resident Dandy DJs.

PLUS: we’re honoured to welcome our special guest headlining DJ, the immensely talented Birkham (FKA Former Hero) hailing all the way from Yorkshire. He’ll be playing a queer, euphoric, uplifting, body-shaking 90 minute set in the basement from midnight to 1:30am - you will NOT want to miss him!

AnalogueTrash is a fiercely independent queer-operated record label and promotions outfit run by Adrian Brian Thompson and Mark Buckley, founded in Manchester and now based in the wonderful town of Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

Dandy is the LGBTQ+ party for the bears, beauts, chubs, twinks, pups, pigs, daddies, House Mothers, Muscle Marys, Marthas, Arthurs, loners, losers, fems, freaks, and everything else! Founded in 2015 by Deany Sevigny and Beardre Barlow (Bollox), we’ve gone from strength to strength every year, grown into a true DJing and party collective, and we’re spreading our wings across the UK and Europe throughout 2024… Next stop: who knows?
