Community hosts Pitched Black

Community Manchester returns once again on Saturday March 15th to Soup to bring you the next edition of its Afrofuturist themed ‘ Pitched Black ‘ party with a highly unique special DJ / music producer ‘ Boddhi Satva flying in from Portugal. 

Boddhi is one of the kings of Afro electronic spiritual dance music. He has spent the last two decades creating a vast catalogue of music, collaborating with classical African artists like Oumou Sangaré, Gnawa maestro Malem Hammam as well as crossover pop star Davido, r&b icon Raheem DeVaughn & many superstar DJs including Louie Vega & Osunlade. 

Boddhi has just released a new LP ‘In Spite Of Everything’ and a new single ‘ African Renaissance’. He has not performed at our party for almost a  decade but will now make his third appearance alongside host DJs Irfan Rainy, L∞K & Kula Greene.
