There ain’t no party like a Doodle Christmas party, and oh my, what a soirée we have in store for you this time. This shindig has been years, possibly even a decade in the making; with our headliner first grabbing our attention way back in 2016 when he released the aptly named ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’. Fresh off the back of his sensational recent offering, ‘Italo Disco Banger’, recently described by Doodle friend and maestro Luke Una as “the record of 2024”; and a record that, like it’s aforementioned predecessor, does exactly what it says on the tin; this man is in high demand right now. We are of course talking about the incredible RedRack’em, who we are thrilled to announce will join us on December 20th at our spiritual home; the magnificent Soup.
If one of the hottest artists on the planet right now isn’t enough to tickle your tinsel, then we’ve chucked another absolute killer in your Christmas Stocking. Joining Red Rack’em will be the wonderful Private Joy, aka Pops Roberts; someone we’ve admired from a far (well, not that far) for quite some time. Having her fingers in many musical Manchester pies, including founding Neo-Soul collective Love Scene, her jaw-dropping soulful DJ sets, and with recent releases on Rhythm Section, and collaborations with Doodle favourite Ruf Dug, Pops is on flames at the moment. We’re incredibly excited to have her.
Joining Red Rack’em and Private Joy will be residents Charlie Fleig, Joe Strugs and Amuse Bouche, who has had some wonderful success of late, with his recent chart topping EP ‘Serendipity’ doing the rounds in the DJ circuit. I don’t think we’ve ever had so much talent in one place. See you all on the dance floor!
