Downright dirty garage punk rock. Melodious moments from the LP were edged out of the live acoustics by relentless sonic guitar onslaught. Three men, a wave of noise befitting fifty. The Soup Kitchen’s raw ambience, raw odour and bursting-at-the-seems huddle all added to the Flat Worms’ appeal. Cheap too; a great night but next time the band may need to upscale the venue!
