Review of Sanction x Kooky

WAY too hot. Upstairs had air-con but downstairs had nothing. Felt like you could pass out. After a certain time they were only serving doubles which is just ridiculous. Also at some point they closed the actual outside bit and said they'd let us out for a fiver.

Really good night apart from having to queue all nite for a cig and it bein so hot inside! Drinks prices were extortionate as well. Wouldn't go again tbh

Review of Sanction Presents Clean Bandit (DJ Set) & Mike Mago

Best Sankeys night I've been to yet, Clean Bandit DJ set & Mike Mako killed it as expected. Music was spot on including the Sanction DJs, quality all round. Spektrum & The Basement were both good on this night, the price was reasonable. The atmosphere was ecstatic; an all round good vibe, good people, good music, good times. What more could you want? Can't wait for the next Santion event @ Sankeys.

Spektrum carried this night. Went to the basement after Spektrum was bouncing and no one was there. Would've had Amine Edge & Dance on at the time Sion was on because he was absolute ****e. Very hot & sweaty night but still a good one because of Spektrum.

I think the lineup for this event was better than he hacienda night 1st August 2015. There were alot more old school songs that I would associate with hacienda

Review of Cohesion

It's been five years since I went to Sankey's and boy oh boy did I miss that place. It's been a long time coming that a DnB event there with such a good line up was produced. The sound was decent, bouncers/staff easy to get on with, I didn't see any fighting and I came across no one with an attitude - it would appear that people left theirs at home.

Music was fantastic but I would say my only (small) qualm was that the club was the quietest I've ever seen it. Not necessarily a bad thing as I've seen Sankey's absolutely packed out and it's absolutely grim.

Maybe put more effort into promotion next time?

Either way, I had a great time, totally wicked line up too.
