Daniel Wang was a wonderful presence- fun, involved, inclusive, euphoric- a total delight!
Just one problem- the blurb promised us disco, soul and old/new house-but there was no house music at all.
The set was very middle of the road and didn't build in intensity.
It's hard to leave a neg. review, because Daniel was so cool and joyful- but the music too often felt like a provincial discotheque in the late 70s, and not in good way.
I didn't expect it to be like a night at Hidden, but if you promise house music, please play house music!! (This opinion was shared by quite a few people I spoke with).
