About

The Carlton Club, the #1 rated Music Venue on Skiddle and beating heart of a community is under threat of eviction!

These Manchester Legends have all generously donated their time and talent so you can help us boost the Club’s Legal fund to fight this, they are bringing the bangs for your bucks!

Jon Dasilva

With a career spanning four decades, which began in what many consider to be the birthplace of the British House and Techno music scene and the UK’s music mecca, Fac 51 The Hacienda, and a busy UK and international schedule that shows no sign of abating, few of today’s DJs can boast a pedigree like Jon Dasilva, who was recently voted in at #25 in Iconic Magazine reader’s poll of All Time Top 50 DJs.

He headlined our It’s All Gravy Night in July 23, and we so delighted to have him back

James Holroyd

This cheeky legend either has us mooving and grooving on the dancefloor or in stitches off it,and he headlined our It’s All Gravy night in November 22

Boggy started plying his trade back in 1991 in the heady days of the original Back to Basics at Leeds' Music Factory. He was introduced to the decks playing a mixture of funk, house, disco and hip hop, and by 1992 his unique style and cheeky personality had secured him a job as resident.

In the meantime, a move to Manchester strengthened his contacts with Manchester's bubbling underground club scene. In 1993 he joined forces with the Jockey Slut Magazine team to form a house and techno based club night called Bugged Out!, and in 1997 this weekly night earnt itself the Muzik Magazine Award for Club of the Year. James is still resident at Bugged Out and plays across the UK and Europe.

Supernature (BB and Richie V)

Supernature (along with with Rob Jones and James Greenwood) were our 1st ever collaborators on a In-Club Fundraising stream with our phony war Disco vs Techno event in the Pandemic, an event that brought joy to thousands being the 2nd only Glastonbury that weekend on Mixcloud live streams, so to have them come back for a proper party is a great joy!

It’s hard to summarise their impact on the Manchester scane, they’ve worked with so many superstars and performers, and at events such as Homobloc, venues such the Refuge, Joshua Brooks ad Freight Island, and their own parties, as pioneers of the day party and night time events, are famous for their warm inclusive atmosphere and amazing music
