Review of LOS DEDOS + The 99 Degree

My 1st time at this venue. Good little pub. 99 Degree were great. Los Dedos absolutely brilliant, music to put a smile on your face. AAA+

Los Dedos with the 99 Degrees at the Eagle in Salford was a fantastic gig. The 99 Degrees were a nice surprise, had undertones of Joy Division with a metal edge, a bit of noise and really interesting sound, delivered with great energy and a sense of humour. 

Los Dedos were amazing, I've been dying to see them since I first heard of them a couple of years or so ago, and they didn't disappoint. They have loads of charisma and stage presence, and have plenty of interaction with each other as well as the crowd.

The Eagle is a lovely venue about 15 mins walk from Victoria, so easily accessible by tram. Old-school pub with a venue at the back, not sure of capacity but I'm guessing about 120-ish, with a tiny balcony area. Really intimate feel and great sound.

Definitely recommend both bands and the venue, had a great night.

Review of DubsteadSoundz presents: Pub and Bass

Zach is such a talented musician. He brings a style and authenticity that is uniquely his own. It is a style that would not work on anyone else and even if somebody tried to imitate it, they couldn't. That's what makes him a brilliant artist. Every song is from the heart and built around his own experiences, but they are written in a way that touches your own soul and life experience and it genuinely feels like he is singing directly to or about you. This young artist has got an amazing career ahead of him and every time I go to one of his gigs, he just gets better and better! His music and lyrics are written in such a way that they reach all demographics people. This is evident at his gigs which are a mass of people from all ages. If you have never seen him play, I strongly urge you to go to one of his gigs! In a world full of generic artists, Zach Alexander is an absolute breath of fresh air.
