Review of The Brownsuga Brunch hosted by Richard Blackwood
This event was falsely advertised. The food was not “approved authentic Caribbean cuisine”. It was evident from the pizza boxes they went to the take away next door. We payed for VIP which promised a personalised service. Again did not get this. I would like a refund for this event

Review of Desi Saturday Night - September/ Fresher's special
Been to a few desi nights and places in MCR and this one was really disappointing. Rubbish music, creepy old men and security guards were casually watched as men tried to touch women in appropriately. Really dirty toilets from the moment the night started and not classy or fun at all.
The music was a total let down that we ended up going to another place in the end which was far nicer and free to get in.

Review of Desi Saturday Night
The crowd was pathetic. Place is too small and felt suffocating with too many people. Horrible people and they have no civic sense. Group of boys were using rough lanugauge and slangs and were touching girls. It should be a place for everyone to feel safe and enjoy. It didn't feel like that at all. Would not recommend it for any girls who want to have a good and stressfree night.

Review of Belaire Valentine’s Affair Comedy Special
Music was good during break.
Material wasn't too great. All about sex. Didn't see much variety. Jokes about sex and filth are boring. Like the guy looking like the crips with his red du rag, just reeling off some fantasy. (More like packet of walkers ready salted crisps) Boring.
Serge caught our interest though. His dry style was entertaining.
Some people are naturally funny, and should use that. No need
It then took 5 men to figure out how to position some sofas. I told one of them to go on YouTube for guidance 🤣 We had to stand about giving them space to figure it out 🤣
Not worth £17.
We left and went to Soul central night.
Leon is naturally funny and I'd pay to see him if material was more developed.

Review of England V USA Live
Great vibe… great music! Cheap quality beer/spirits … staff friendly .. polite and great service!!!! Never been here before but great first experience will definitely be going again!
