ALSO, THE EVENT IS BEING BROADCAST LIVE ON YOUTUBE.COM/SKIDDLE - FROM 18:30 ON 10 OCT.
Headstock and Skiddle have teamed up to launch The Drop - a brand new EDM event series, created to raise money for charities supporting the mental health of people working within the music industry.
Kicking things off on Thursday 10th October (World Mental Health Day) are Manchester heavyweights, Solardo - who will be throwing a FREE PARTY.
The superstar duo will be swapping huge festivals such as Tomorrowland, Glastonbury, Creamfields and Parklike to play an intimate show on home ground.
The event will take place at The Yard in Cheetham Hill, where Solardo will be supported by Shimrise, one of the most exciting electronic breakthrough acts on the Manchester house scene.
The Drop sessions will take place early in the evening (6-9pm), and the intimate nature of the events promises to create an incredible rave experience like no other.
There are only 300 tickets available for this very intimate, free event. Tickets are capped at 2 per person and will be allocated on a first come, first saved basis.
For the Solardo event, we will be taking voluntary donations at check-out on Skiddle and on the door at The Yard.
All proceeds from the event will be split equally between mental health charity, Music Minds Matter, and Manchester-based music & mental health social enterprise, Headstock.
Please note, Solardo's set will be livestreamed via Skiddle's YouTube channel, so only purchase tickets if you are happy appearing on camera!
ABOUT THE YARD
The Yard is an accessible venue and has ramp access to the front with direct entry to the main atrium. There is an accessible toilet on one of the side wings adjacent to the main event space. Due to the nature of the event, any ticket holder attending who has additional needs must bring a suitable support assistant, who will be responsible for their care and in the case of an evacuation.
No bags are allowed in the main atrium space. There will be a secure bag drop and cloakroom available for a charge of £2.50 an item.
For ticket-holders with sensory needs, there will be the option to watch the live stream at the venue in a quieter space.
For anyone wishing to carry on their night after the show, The Yard will remain open.
