A great gig, shame there weren’t more people there to enjoy it.

This was a fantastic gig by the Nick Walters Quintet, the band was on top form playing all original
compositions, except for the encore which was a tune called Afro Blue by Mongo Santamaria. At times it reminded me of the great British Jazz fusion band Nucleus and mid period Miles Davis, as there were spacey effects on the trumpet and lots of Fender Rhodes solo's.

A friendly comfortable venue - very well run with good selection of beers spirits soft drinks coffees etc. Band made up of individually stunning musicians- who combine to produce complex sophisticated but easily accessible pieces which segue effortlessly from a full orchestral sound to delicate nuanced passages of beautifully rendered melodies .Highly recommended!!!!
