Review of The Lounge Comedy Club ft Richard Blackwood
the event had a great potential but failed epically! The only bright star in otherwise dull event was the host Kamillah 5 star, who kept the audience entertained and engaged.
The warm up acts of a comedian and local singer were sub-par at best, but what tipped this event into an absolute f**kery was Richard Blackwood. Who arrived an hour late wearing a denim sleeveless vest (yes that happened!) and performed a routine that i heard him do verbatim 5 years ago. As you can imagine since it was an old routine it was extremely dated and quite offensive to women in some parts.
what this showed was that one Richard and the organizers had no respect for the customer and two were okay with ripping us off.
I don't understand how they thought it was acceptable for him to come on stage and do that routine, with so much going in the uk right now you'd expect him to at least touch on brexit. But i guess asking for orignality and respect is too much.
RIP to both Lounge Comedy and Richard Blackwood - we the customer deserve better so do BETTER
