Venus started life as Manchester�s best loved night out, fulfilling the promoter�s mantra that it�s all about quality, rather than quantity. After a decade in Manchester, the team behind Venus took the brave step to open their very own nightclub. Venus opened at the beginning of 2010 with a fanfare of funk and quickly found a home in the very heart of Manchester�s clubscene. At Venus it�s all about attention to detail - from the moment you step through the door to the moment you step onto the dancefloor; from the air conditioning to the double lady�s toilets for socialising; the lights and soundsystem to the circular sunken chill-out area. Venus is also a state-of-the-art venue � the first in Manchester to use the new Pioneer CDJ2000s, a venue where everything has been thought through, from the drinks offer at the bar, to the areas to chill out. And of course, at Venus it has always been about that magical combination of people and music. Venus has an unashamedly tight door policy, so that only the real party people get through. They have also built a roster of trusted residents (including Andy Clarke, Chris J Frater, Ryan Stent, Mike Lee, John Steward, Les Paul and Dave Ellis), some of whom have been with the club for a decade or more, and know exactly what buttons to push to turn on the Venus dancefloor...
