My opinion is quite subjective yet I believe that the entire event is genius...from the moment you walked in to the first shot of battle...intense...media and observed participation was respectful to every artist which reflects the sheer credibility to all taking part
The love of art within Manchester is bred from every corner. The enthusiastic anticipation echoed like a rising storm throughout the evening and none...not even one person was left wanting. Epicness in a nutshell

This evening was a great experience! A cross section of people attending something different. The music venue & entertainment was superb. The only one critism I would have was the microphone & ability to capture all of the necessary communication! It may have been the venue but it would have been helpful to hear more clearly. Otherwise a fantastic night!

A thrill for all your senses . Music fantastic, street food great, artists fun. Loved. The band and the swimming girls -random and eccentric. Beautiful venue. I can honestly say I’ve never been to anything like this and I had no expectations but I came away buzzing from the vibe of the event. I loved it. I carnt wait to attend another Art Battle.

This is the fourth Art Battle we have attended and we can’t recommend it enough. The organisers always find the best venues (and it isn’t ever in the same place twice), the entertainment is brilliant and then the competition itself is always so good (what some of the artists create in 30 minutes is astonishing!) It really does make art accessible to everyone in what is always a really enjoyable evening.

Great event and friendly atmosphere. Security could be slightly more polite on requests in closing areas, especially when people aren't aware. Ask not demand would be more helpful and friendly ;-)


All in all, this was great to experience for the first time. Congratulations, we would definitely go to another battle when we are in the area.

The venue was great from a viewing perspective for this event, however it was freezing cold in there.

Great venue, good fun, cheerful and friendly vibe, not really competitive or aggressive at all. Really pleased to see a woman compere, a woman DJ, and lots of women artists. Will definitely do it again.

I am 66 and I really appreciated the art battle being held in a venue which in itself was very atmospheric and interesting and also hadn't got too many steps. The event was as usual excellently organised and the entertainment really suited the backdrop. Well done to all who helped to make this evening a huge success. Great atmosphere and space. I look forward to attending the next event.

It was totally outstanding, the bar and bar service were dreadful, but everything else more than made up for it.
