I booked a free ticket but then added an optional donation to my booking. Received an email saying the free tickets were being cancelled but I could book one of the ones with a mandatory donation. I never received my original donation back

Wonderful concert. The choice of music, performance of the band, soloists and the conductor made for a lively and sometimes emotive listening experience.
The venue provided good seats with an excellent view of the stage. This created a good atmosphere but unfortunately there was an unpleasant amount of noise being generated from the rear of the hall in the bar area. This made listening to some of the quiet pieces of music difficult but luckily someone in authority reacted to the adverse looks and glares for the audience because during the second half, the noise level reduced. I understand that the venue needs to make money but hopefully the management understand that alcohol and conviviality usually makes a noisy c**ktail. This doesn't happen at Bridgewater Hall, Stoller Hall and similar venues. I would go to another concert but sit at the front because noise from inconsiderate guests while the bar is open and people having conversations at these venues during a performance is considered by them to be acceptable behaviour.

Absolutely amazing concert. So heartwarming and what an amazing talent every single musician is! Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely go again

There was signs for parking as you get there a man with a high vis stood in the rd charging £10. Got to the event was advertised there would be fun day, was nothing there for kids.
This is the second time this has happened when I've booked with skiddle.

Great afternoon of music, lots of bar staff available so queues not too bad. Loads of toilets which were very clean.

The main issue was the ticketing chaos should not have issued free tickets then cancel them should not include on posters free tickets should have said by donation only. Also why was the road closed by the side of the entrance it made difficult for those with mobility concerns to get to the entrance.

Booked free tickets well ahead of the event. Received an email a week before informing me that the 4 free tickets had been cancelled, due to demand, and that I could rebook for £10 per ticket. Will never use this ticket agency again. Very embarrassing having to tell my friends that the tickets for our planned day out had been cancelled.
