Skiptrace presents: Kassian (Extended Set), Abena & du_rie

19th October sees us return for our second outing at YES basement this year with a special extended set from Kassian, alongside support from Abena.

If you’ve caught any of their regular Rinse FM shows, then you’ll already know that they’re all about pushing boundaries and blurring the lines between genres. They are specialists in merging UK bass, house, and techno sounds into leftfield goodness. Their label, Faux Poly provides the perfect breeding ground for their sonic explorations, allowing them to continually develop and evolve their sound. This set is unmissable.

We’re also thrilled to have Abena on the lineup. Co-founder of All Hands On Deck, a collective dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for women, trans, and non-binary DJs. No stranger to the dance floors of the UK underground scene, Abena delivers high energies out of the leftfield. From ambient to techno with pit stops in dub and bass music, while always championing the experimental, forward thinking nature of the Manchester scene - we are very excited to see what they’ll bring on 19.10!
