The music was fantastic but there was an acute lack of actual Northern soul soulies. It was full of students that had no idea how to dance to Northern soul and were just doing their own thing, normally i wouldn't have a problem with anyone's dancing but they were spilling beer all over the floor so when i danced i was just slipping on the beer. I was really disappointed as Northern soul nights are all about the music and the dancing. I think it's great that the young students love the music but they just miss the point of Northen soul. Not keeping the faith :(
