JOIN US IN THE PINK SCREENING ROOM for a celebration of award-winning LGBTQ+ storytelling, showcasing a selection of four short films that have garnered acclaim and recognition at the Iris Prize Festival. This programme includes the thought-provoking and boundary-pushing films "Tarneit," "Scaring Women at Night," "F**ked," and "A Beautiful Form to See," each offering a unique perspective on the diverse experiences within LGBTQ+ communities around the world. 

These films have been chosen for their exceptional storytelling, powerful performances, and their ability to engage and resonate with audiences.
 
As they screen at YES this August, viewers are invited to immerse themselves in the tapestry of stories that reflect the vibrancy and complexity of LGBTQ+ lives. The programme promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience, celebrating the artistry and voices of LGBTQ+ filmmakers.

The YES: PINK SCREENING ROOM is a space at SCENE dedicated to showcasing the best features and shorts of the year alongside Q&As and panels from the top LGBTQ+ creatives behind them - with a focus on championing new and upcoming film makers and subjects from the all part of the LGBTQIA community. This screening is supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.
